Internet can be transmitted wirelessly and through an Ethernet cable. Using an Ethernet cable is ideal for online gaming as it is more reliable and offers a steady connection. There are some great providers as well with blazing-fast internet speeds wirelessly. Click here to get the fastest possible wireless speeds.
Ethernet cables can only be installed by an experienced technician. Different wiring codes in every country usually specify the protection required and the type of retainers from other cables. It is very important to install your Ethernet cable properly because it allows you the regular data flow as it connects your network and data systems such as modems, adapters, and routers.
To hang Ethernet cable you just need to follow these steps
1.Plan the task
Firstly, get permission for doing drill holes if necessary. You can use a camera or use a webcam from a computer to see the images of the space of ceiling so it will be easy to see the good path of cable and you can take the idea if there’s any obstruction in the path
2.Choosing the right cable
One should use a UV-protected cable if the place is accessible to birds and rats, or the place is reachable to water oil or chemicals. The wire must be wrapped in conduit, if you are using a readymade stranded cable, attach it with already installed connectors and boots and wrap it in tape to keep them clean and to avoid tearing.
3.Avoid stretching the cable
It is important to avoid stressing or stretching the cable to refrain from damage. You must check the supplier to figure out the tension cable can tolerate without having any damage. When the cable is finally laid it should be loose, having much slack so that normal movement of the things around doesn’t stress it.
4.No sharp bends
The bend radius of every cable is specified by the cabling rules. Twisting it will affect the high speed and reliability of the signals. The minimum bend radius is 25mm.
Always keep some extra length of the cable so that trimming several times does not make the cable very short.
6.Support the cable
It is better for cable to loosely contact a surface than suspended from a couple of points which may cause it to twist over time. It is best to run plastic trunking or conduit then put the cable inside it. You can even try running trunking up the walls, if possible while moving by a discrete corner or closer to a doorway so that it doesn’t stand out visually.
7.Secure the cable
The cable must be secure with the devices to avoid and retain from kinking and sheathing. Avoid sharp edges and tight cable ties. Use Velcro straps as they are softer and allow the cable to move if it is pulled.
